System Requirements

1. IBM PC or compatible, Intel 586-266 CPU (AMD K6 266) or above, 64 Megabytes RAM or above, CD-ROM Drive, at least 40 Mega bytes of free hard disk space, 15 inch or above color monitor, mouse, keyboard. ( Official Recommend: Intel 586-266 CPU or above, 128 Megabytes RAM or above, CD-ROM Drive, at least 60 Mega bytes of free hard disk space, 17 inch or above color monitor, mouse, keyboard. )
   
   
2. Windows 98/98se/ME or windows 2000/XP or later.
   (Official Recommend: Windows ME, 2000, XP.)
   
   
3. Any printer that supports Windows Operation System
   
   
4. M.E.A.D. uses the RS-232 serial interface in the computer, so you should ensure that there is at least one RS-232 interface to connect with your computer. The common computer has at least 2 or more RS-232 interfaces, but perhaps other interfaces such as mouse, data unit, digital camera, etc. have occupied this interface, so you cannot connect M.E.A.D.. You are advised to ensure this interface first.
   
   
5. Some super-thin notebooks’ RS-232 interface is equipped with simulative output of USB interface. It is likely that M.E.A.D. is not compatible with such type of laptop.
   
   
6. PS-2 Mouse/Keyboard connector, tie-in of mouse/keyboard for patch cord of power source.
   
   
7. The Monitor must support mode of 800×600 resolution 256 colors. Please select small font, because this is the lowest resolution that the system operation software of this device sets. (the Monitor display mode we suggest is :1024×768).
